General
Deep Blue will take every effort to get you goods to you as efficiently and effectively as possible. All orders placed before 3:00pm will be shipped on the day of ordering (subject to payment authorization and availability). Any items, which are out of stock, will be shipped as soon as your order is complete or as they become available.
There are a number of different methods of delivery available on our website. Delivery prices will vary according to the delivery address, delivery method, size, weight and value of the goods to be shipped.

What is covered by my FREE delivery?
This will cover the majority of orders with the exception of some special offers and orders containing lead that are less than £30 in value.

Upgrading your postage
Upgrades available when ordering your goods include NEXT DAY delivery, 48HOUR, RECORDED (signed for) and SPECIAL. If ordering on the website these options will come up on the screen before payment is due and the corresponding price/item will appear. When ordering over phone, let the sales member know of the urgency of your parcel.

Postage prices will depend on destination, weight and value. Please email packing@deepbluedive.com with exact order and postal address for an accurate quotation.
Do I need to sign for my parcel?
It depends on the weight of your order. If your order is small, light and inexpensive, it will be delivered by Royal Mail Second Class post (no signature needed), however it is small and expensive, you will then have to sign for the item. For larger, heavier items we will use a courier service to deliver your order, which requires a signature. In these circumstances it is advisable to have the order delivered to wherever you will be during working hours so you can sign for the parcel.
What if I am not available to collect my parcel?
If no one is present to sign for your goods, a card will be left with the option to collect your parcel from a local depot or have it re-dispatched at a convenient time. Please note this may cause a delay in you receiving the goods.
My order has been dispatched but I have not received it yet?
Tracking information can be found for your order in the My Account section and via the Order Tracking page as soon as your order has been dispatched. You will also receive these details by e-mail. All the methods of shipping we use apart from Royal Mail First/Second Class and First/Second Recorded allow you to track your parcel by using a tracking number. Please contact us to find out more.
If your order has been sent via Royal Mail Second Class post, but you have not received it, we are obliged to wait 14 days from the date of dispatch before Royal Mail will consider the parcel lost and we can therefore re-send your order and claim for the loss.
BFPO addresses only
This shipping method is available for British Forces Posted Overseas and addresses only. Shipping is as with all other UK mailing but please check to see that the size and weight of your order does not exceed maximums for your BFPO destination number by checking with BFPO http://www.bfpo.org.uk/contactus.htm

To claim the VAT off your BFPO order
Your order must be accompanied by a fax or email from your C.O. stating that the goods you are ordering are for personal use. The VAT will then automatically be removed from your order. If no correspondence is received, the order will be dispatched with the VAT element still attached.
VAT Exempt Orders
If this applies to you, the price you will pay for the goods will automatically be adjusted to remove the VAT element. You can also avoid paying VAT if you are having your goods sent to you in the UK, but are taking the goods abroad permanently within 3 months of making the purchase. You will have to pay the VAT with your order but by following the steps outlined you can reclaim the VAT content from us. In this case you can request a VAT Reclaim form from us (just add a note requesting this at our checkout screen). We will complete the relevant parts of this form before sending it to you with your goods. You will then take the form with you and the goods when you leave the UK and you should ask customs to fill in their section of the form at the airport, ferry terminal or channel tunnel when you leave the country. When you reach your destination outside the EU, you can then send the completed form back to us and we will refund the VAT amount charged to the credit or debit card details you have filled in on the reclaim form.
